Shade of INNOCENCE

 

I believe white is such an innocent shade. I love ALL white and ALL black...I always get excited when I see someone outfitted with those two. White is Chic and Black is classic in my opinion so you can never go wrong with either.

This one-piece Jumpsuit is from H&M and I really love the simplicity of it as well as the wide leg. It felt feminine yet sophisticated. I paired it with my mom's gold belt that I call vintage and I just love the contrast between the gold on top of the white. To add some color, I decided to wear my Steve Madden Ballahh Pumps that I am completely in love with. They are like nude platform pumps with a TWIST which I love ;)

Whenever I go out of my house, whether to the grocery store or simply to take a stroll on the Highline Park, I always somehow tend to feel OVER-dressed. I'm always asked the question, "where are you going all dressed up?" && my answer is simply, "nowhere" haha. My point is, I don't need an occasion to dress the way I want. There is no rule as to how we should dress from day to night. Nothing is forbidden when it comes to how one should outfit themselves so MAKE YOUR OWN RULE according to your own liking!!! Just keep it CLEAN ;)

I have drifted yet again && I am sorry for the lack of posts...I feel like this summer is flying by soo quickly and I hardly have time to really grasp and enjoy every moment so that is my goal for the next couple of weeks I have left of this summer...to stop && smell the roses as cliche as that sounds haha.

I am really in love with this dress I got from Topshop, yellow is such a summery color and although the sleeves are long, the material is very light and breathable. There is actually a zipper in the back and i zipped it down because I loved the idea of a bareback && I think it works for this dress.

I paired it with random accessories and my favorite ALDO mesh wedges which are amazingly comfortable...I could walk in them all day ;)

Miss INDEPENDENT

 

This outfit was inspired by Independence day (4th of July)...I saw this sheer blue dress at H&M and I immediately grabbed it without having a clue of how I would wear it...I decided to add the corset top from UO and pair it with the American Apparel mini bodycon skirt then I threw on the red braided belt from Zara for effect ;)

  

 

I know you all may be tired of seeing me wearing my nude Aldo platform pumps BUT I just can't seem to get away from them...I love them soooo much and not to mention they literally go with EVERYTHING. It might be time for me to give them a break...we'll see.... ;)

Wild hearts can't be broken

 

 I thought I would be so diligent with my blog but I keep scrambling to find time to post. So now I am all caught up. Hopefully I can keep up with myself. 

 

 When I saw this shirt at American Apparel, I instantly fell in love with the color. It might just be my new favorite color. I love the slight lift the shoulder pad gave to the shirt and the free material that I thought looked more lovely in the wind. 

 

 To emphasize the color of the shirt, I paired it with some pale colors. The pale pink and beige of the shorts from H&M seemed to go very well with it.

 

My nude pumps from Aldo never fail me and the elegant simplicity of it goes with just about everything. To keep with the pale colors, I wore a nude vintage clutch that I love so dearly.

This is my favorite sweater from Urban Outfitters that I decided to pair with some high-waisted black shorts from UO as well. I didn't want the look to be so black and white, so I added a colorful vintage belt.

 The low V-back really adds a feminine touch to the sweater that I adore and was instantly drawn to.

 I added a lot of bracelets to complete the look along with the pink clutch and nude pumps from Aldo.
