How to Rock a Statement coat:
Step #1 – Get yourself a statement coat
Step #2 – ROCK it! :slightly_smiling_face:

The right statement coat can be a game-changer when it comes to looking chic through the winter. No other item has as much power to completely transform your cold-weather wardrobe singlehandedly. A perfect statement coat stands out on it’s in a crowd but it doesn’t need to be “loud”. Subtle animal prints, addition of graphics, and interesting textures and materials can all make a coat into a statement coat. Here I am rocking a double-breasted faux fur snake print coat from & Other Stories (on sale for $100 btw). The moment I laid my eyes on this coat, I knew this it would make a great addition to my closet and will play along with so many basics that I have. For this look, I decided to layer it over an all-black look to make sure that this bold coat pops even more. When you have an incredible statement piece in your collection, you can pair it with almost anything else in your closet and it will elevate otherwise mundane essentials to the next level tying the whole look together. So here’s a new formula that I propose on How to Rock a Statement coat:
Step #1 – Get yourself a statement coat
Step #2 – Surround it with your favorite black, brown, or beige pieces.
Step #3 – ROCK it! :slightly_smiling_face:
