What gets you in the holiday spirit?
For me, it’s the energy of being in the city during this time of year. The hustle and bustle of the crowds, the beautifully decorated streets & storefronts, and of course the holiday shops. This time last year the Oculus (where these photos were shot) was booming with fun DIY activities for the whole family like wreath and ornament making. I remember even getting a 3d printed ornament of myself from Doob. Is it safe to say “oh, the good ‘ol days” as I reminisce? It’s always magical, this time of year.
Although it all feels different this year, and it is – being in the city still gives me life. Leaving my humble abode in Brooklyn and venturing out into Manhattan dressed up and feeling fine was a small feat but felt special nonetheless. It’s the beauty of the city itself for me!
